Liverpool and Manchester City are following West Ham defender Nayef Aguerd, according to reports.
The centre-back has managed to score three goals in 33 competitive appearances for the London club. He is under contract until 2027.
Now the British tabloid The Sun writes that Liverpool are following Aguerd closely as Jurgen Klopp wants to sharpen his defensive next summer.
However, Liverpool could face competition in the hunt for Aguerd as Manchester City also admire the player, according to the newspaper.
However, Pep Guardiola is not in as much need as Liverpool to bring in another centre-back.
Aguerd has scored one goal in 34 caps for Morocco.
